Privacy at Okumo
Private by default, with clear controls over the files and links you choose to share. This notice describes the current product design and may be updated as we finalize operations.
What information is involved
To provide the service, Okumo uses the identity and profile information returned by Iconical ID, private file metadata such as names, sizes and folders, storage usage, sharing settings and security/activity records. Iconical ID manages your central identity credentials.
How your files work
Uploaded file contents are stored privately in Okumo's configured object storage (for example Cloudflare R2). Okumo keeps associated account and access records in its application database (for example D1). Files are not public unless you explicitly create a share link with applicable access controls.
Why we use this information
We process this information to sign you in, enforce account and storage limits, deliver files, maintain sharing, prevent misuse, handle support and keep the service secure. Optional integrations may process the data necessary to carry out actions you authorize.
Sharing and third parties
When you create a public link, anyone with a working link may be able to access the shared material. Connected services such as Iconical ID, storage providers and optional payment or integration providers may process information required for their roles. You control whether to enable optional webhook connections.
Retention and deletion
The workspace provides file Trash and share revocation controls. Deleting or revoking content can affect availability immediately, while residual records or backups may persist temporarily for technical, security or legal reasons. Contact us for account/data deletion requests or questions about applicable retention.
Security
Okumo uses authenticated sessions, access controls, private object storage and scoped integrations. No internet-facing service can promise absolute security. Protect your account and revoke sharing links or integrations you no longer need.
Your choices
You can manage your uploaded files, public links, API keys and eligible connected clients inside Okumo. For access, correction, deletion or other privacy requests, email our support contact. Requests may require proof of account ownership.
